NUCLEUS welcomed Chinese officials from AQCIQ.
On March 11th, NUCLEUS welcomed in France delegation of Chinese officials from AQCIQ. During a week, this delegation visited quarantine facilities for export to China, GGP farms, laboratories and AI Centers.
NUCLEUS opened one GGP farm with Landrace production and one quarantine facility. Objectives of this Chinese delegation were to assess French heath monitoring system and health status of French breeding animal. "Chinese officials thanked French companies and official veterinary authorities for the warm welcome they received in France" said Arnaud BUCHET, export Manager for Asia who received this delegation. "They really appreciated to have free access to all sites, to ask all questions they wanted in order to assess French health monitoring system. Chinese officials informed French companies that French breeding pigs had less health problems at arrival in China than pigs from other country. They are confident in the monitoring system. That's the reason why they proposed to French pig breeding companies to simplify health certificate for export of French breeding pig to China".
